Great protractor, not so great compass
Knocking off one star for the compass, but the winner her is the protractor. My son was the envy of his math class with this protractor as it has a dial, which makes it easier for him to locate his angle and draw a precise line. We even purchased 2 extra as back ups for at home and in his locker at school in case one is lost. The compass, on the other hand, broke after only a few uses. It might have been user error or careless storage in his backpack, but it should have lasted longer than that.

Item broke after moderate use in middle school geometry class. Less than a month of use.

Don’t buy this product
The protractor is fine. The compass appears cheaply made, as if it will break soon and with limited use. The biggest frustration is the pencil doesn’t stay in the compass. It is too loose so when you use the compass, the pencil slides up and doesn’t mark the paper. Very frustrating. It renders the compass unusable.

Both pieces broke with very gentle use. Compass is not easy to use for a sixth grader

Worthless
I gave a two star rather than a one because the protractor is okay, but the compass will not hold position and moves around when you try to draw a circle.
