Henderson, Nevada?
They're website states, very clearly, that Denny personally performs these things, among others.1. Denny personally cuts the nut and installs it,2. Denny personally cuts and sets the saddle.And3. Denny personallyhand-winds the"custom strings".And, finally4. Denny personally does the final set-up on your guitar(the one you're paying for). This guitar shipped from Henderson, Nevada. Not Lincoln, NebraskaI did some research and oh my, was it eye-opening. These "claims" are at best, false advertising and at worst, out and out right lies. My technician will perform a real professional setup. Things like leveling/dressing frets, documenting hights, etc, set neck truss rod and installing real strings. I'll send "Denny" the bill when done. I'll update their response.

Zager 4/5 Parlor Electric a great small guitar with a great sound.
If you are like me you depend upon reviews to help make a decision on whether to purchase a product or not. I hope the following helps you in your decision as to whether you purchase a Zager Easy Play Parlor Size Electric Acoustic Guitar.I have been playing guitar on and off, mostly off, for a number of years. One of the main reasons I haven’t been playing is hand pain due to arthritis in my hands. Just before Christmas I was just exploring the internet looking at new guitars when I came across the Zager Guitars. Here was a luthier by the name of Denny Zager backing up his product with a money back guarantee including shipping. Who else does that? I went through the reviews and was comfortable with personal statements from both well known and unknown customers. My wife and I enjoy camping with our 20’ trailer so the Parlor Size Electric was just right our needs.Just after Christmas I ordered my new guitar. I was surprised at how fast it arrived from Lincoln Nebraska. The first thing I noticed after opening the box and ABS molded case was how nice the African Mahogany looks. I tuned it up with little adjustment, even though the strings are new. It sounded fine for a small guitar and it was new so it was expected to change due to the wood curing. I have been playing it for about two months or so now and both my wife and I have noticed how much richer the sound is. The only adjustment I have had to make is in how I grip the neck and form the chords. It requires less finger pressure to get the chords to sound right, but that isn’t a problem. It is the main reason I chose the Zager brand over a Martin or a Taylor.Through out the process of purchasing the guitar I have been working with Dennis Zager Jr. the owner’s son. I have never experienced the level of customer support that he has provided. He has promptly responded to my questions and concerns. I am not aware of another guitar company who responds to their customer’s questions and concerns as well as Dennis Zager Jr.Now that spring time is just around the corner I am looking forward to taking the guitar along when we go camping. Maybe you will find me playing my Zager by a campfire somewhere in California. If you do please stop by and say hello.

Misleading and overpriced.
Don't be fooled by the marketing spin. Notice how they never explicitly state "Made In America" or even "Made In Indonesia" (which is THE TRUTH) anywhere on their guitars? These are $200 guitars sold at a HUGE markup.

Well worth the money, great guitar
Initially skeptical turned to pleasantly impressed. I’ve been playing since 1965 for fun and professionally at times. Have owned (lost count) many acoustic and electric guitars. I heard about Zager guitars 3 or 4 years ago through Facebook and reviewed their guitars. They looked well made but I wasn’t going to pay that amount of money for a guitar that i hadn’t played first (old school). A friend recently bought one and I got to play it. I went back to the site and ordered my ZAD80CE. It was delivered early and I am more than pleased/impressed. I mainly play lead/fill in and slide - the tonal quality and playability are Outstanding! I plug in to a Fender twin reverb and once adjusted for an acoustic it “again” is Outstanding. Let me add that I play equally and more expensive acoustics - the Zager plays much easier to the touch and has a richer resonance. The workmanship is “top shelf”!! WELL WORK THE$$ in my book. I would highly recommend Zager guitars to those looking for a top quality instrument. NOTE: i was notified FedEx of a November 19th delivery - it came way early with no notification. Luckily I was home***track order as soon as you receive shipping notification! Thanks Zager. Gil

Absolutely Beautiful Guitar !
I bought the travel size guitar because my full size guitars are a pain in the neck to travel with. I also bought the guitar because Zager makes beautiful instruments .It was an easy decision because of their return policy. If it was not what I expected , I could return it.I will not be returning it. It plays easier than any guitar I've ever played! I am thinking about selling my Martin to buy another Zager already. It's that good!

Zager Guitars are Great
I ordered a 900ce 50th anniversary edition, it arrived today. I opened the box, inside was a beautiful case with a stunning guitar. After tuning it I played a few songs I know by heart, it sounds great, better than I expected, I also find it’s easier to play, much easier on my fingers. Very pleased with my purchase!

Is the Zager guitar as good as advertised?
Yes, yes, and yes. Late last year I started looking to buy a new guitar and in my research I came upon the Zager ads. After reading and listening to reviews I bought a ZAD900. Hoping that the product was close to as good as so many of the reviews claimed. It did seem to maybe be a little hype. Well, no hype. This guitar is every bit as good as advertised. It is absolutely beautiful. That is the not what makes special. The sound is what makes it special. Bright, rich, and full. The construction of this instrument is outstanding and the structural advances that Denny has designed do truly improve its playability. I could not be happier with my purchase and would not hesitate to recommend this winner of a guitar to anyone, novice or pro.
