Works exactly as advertised
I own several generations of Western Digital media players and being a 'Mac' person I love them because they work on all of my Mac-formatted hard drives. But, the remotes are getting old and some no longer function properly. This remote is pretty no-frills, but, as I said, does what is advertised and works very well with all of them. I am very happy with the purchase and will probably order a second one in the near future as a back up.

Instant On..no setup..Buy more Velcro for the wall
Instant on with the tough to find WD device.. I only had to turn it on..it recognized the streamer..and off it went. Now I only have to buy some more Velcro to stick to my back.

It works. It. Just. Works.
The enter and and power key on my original remote wore out and since WD no longer manufactures these, I took a chance on this item. I don't know if it will last 3+ years like the original, but so far so good.

I got the product on time and great packaging. It ended up replacing a lost original remote and it works fantastically. I actually like it better then the one that came with the wdtv unit.
