US M1 Garand M1923 Cartridge Belt Lt. OD Marked JT&L 1943 will fit up to 49" waist

This item is highly rated so I ordered with confidence. It appears to be solid quality canvas and all snaps/clips work as they should. Easily fits M1 Garand en bloc clips. Adjusts to waist size easily with old school sliding belt fasteners. I wondered to myself before ordering if this could also be used to hold 15 round M1 Carbine magazines but saw a Question/Answer saying “No.”. Well, when i got my belt I tried it out and, although snug, the M1 Carbine mags fit in the pocket and snap closed. I find it works better with the rounds facing down rather than up. I think with a little time the pockets will stretch and fit the mags easily. The only danger I can see is that the metal edges of the Carbine mags may wear on the canvas over time. The canvas seems sturdy though so should be OK for some time.

I LOVE this thing! I no longer have loaded and empty clips knocking all over the range shelf, and my range bag is much lighter. If you're a Garand owner you know the attention an M1 attracts, everyone watches. I don't feel like a poser wearing this because it's so obviously useful. I find a closed flap without looking and remove the clip. Load and fire, PING, then drop the empty clip back in that pocket. It's a hugely useful item, and helps make my rifle look good by providing more period context. The other guys pull black rifles from nylon tactical cases. I pull a wood-and-metal Garand from a canvas case and feed it from a canvas cartridge belt marked "US".Build quality is great, feels solid, looks awesome. If aliens or the Russians invade, I would carry this into battle (plus some bandoliers with more clips!).

It looks cool and holds my ammo, bayonet, and holstered pistol nicely. Do not abuse this piece of kit. I foolishly left it jostling around in my trunk, fully decked out, for about a month. The cotton fabric near the brass rings (mostly were the bayonet and holster were being held onto) is starting to tear. Still works fine thou, just some small tears.

Seem to be a quality product. The pouches hold my Garand enbloc clips nicely. Not loose but I didnt have to fight them in either. The color matches my other gear fairly well. They definately can be adjusted to fit a 49 in waist. Maybe even a bit more!I wouldn't be afraid to order more.

Fantastic quality, easily adjustable, and functional. Holds N-bloc clips securely and snaps are easy to engage and open pouches. Feels like the real thing, especially the quality of the material. Reproductions are great but functional reproductions are even better, great addition and a must have for M-1 Garand owners.

Amazon seems pretty hit and miss lately with cheap Chinese made garbage. This was a pleasant surprise. I have no doubts that this is better made and higher quality than what the actual GI’s received back in the day. Fits a loaded M1 clip perfectly too.

Once this belt gets a little worn looking it will be perfect. Great reproduction, very pleased.
