My daughter loves this item and has used it to decorate her 2nd grade classroom. She is thrilledto be able to make her own labels and cards.

Easy to follow - great for first time users.

As a new Cricut Joy owner, I was hoping to learn how to use the the machine with some easy text and step by step instructions that I couldn’t find on the internet. Not so with this book. The writing style had me going back to re-read many sentences, most of which I concluded did not make sense. Most of the sections were gross repetitions of the ones before, and I simply could not follow this book. I would recommend learning ones way through the joy of The Joy through YouTube videos or other free on-line blogs and tutorials. Wish I had the $12 back to buy some materials now.

This is a craft I’ve wanted to get into for some time. We are in the beginning stages of planning/preparing for my daughter’s wedding and I see LOTS of signs and the like we are going to need. This book is a thorough guide from how a cricut machine works, the different types of machines, and an in-depth explanation of the “Cricut Joy”. The author compares a few machines and is very fair in her analysis. I am excited to get started.

If you're anything like me, you spot most grammatical errors pretty quickly. I found many on the first page alone. I'm talking about errors in basic grammar. For example, random words were capitalized in the middle of a sentence. At one point, I believe the author was talking about the Cricuts's top products, but said "Circuit's". So either there was no editor, or my 7th grader could do a better job. There may be some great information in this book, but I can't look past the errors enough to understand it.
