Curls The Ultimate Styling Collection B N Control Curl Sculpting Gel (Firm Hold), 8 Ounces

After looking for so long for a gel that wouldn't flake, turn my curls hard yet provide good hold, dry them out, and ultimately pair well with my other products, THIS is the one! This gel has become my new go-to and I can't see that changing. The price is great, and I get this on a subscription basis because, for me, it's a must-have in my hairstyling routine. I also never see this particular one in stores, only the blueberry bliss one. Side note: the Blueberry Bliss Gel from Curls is OKAY and smells great, but I don't think it provides enough hold for my hair.

Works great for my son’s curls! Wish I could find it easier in stores. The only thing is it’s difficult to get it all out at the end. Perfect used on top of Uncle Funky’s Daughter!

I purchased this product based on my natural hair stylist recommendation. She did a big chop on my hair and removed all of the Dead ends and left me with a TWA. I have 4B on the very nape of my neck and the rest of my hair is 4c. In the salon, once she completed the style using this product my hair looked absolutely amazing. She also used the three row Denman comb along with this product and when I left I was not disappointed with getting my hair cut and doing the big chop. Once I styled my hair at home it looked nothing like it did when she did it. I have no idea what I have done wrong, but I think because of the texture of my hair the product needed to be a little bit heavier. It could be me, operator error, but I just wasn't able to get the same look as when I left the salon. If I was able to duplicate it, I would give it a five, but based on me not being able to duplicate it I'm going to give it four stars just because she did an amazing job with that same product. So apparently there is potential.

If you have naturally curly hair and like it to move and be free from frizz due to humidity, this is the product for you! Whether thick hair texture of lots of hair or anywhere in between, it’s safe and great to use right after you wash. No drying necessary and hair stays in place with movement and no weather affect. Product was an accidental find in a large store chain and became difficult to find on the shelves when needed so we looked at Amazon and found it! Depending on which vendor Amazon uses, you get product in as little as 3 days. Contact Amazon if there’s a delay so they can get another vendor or credit/refund you asap.

This does work, but it is also thick like toothpaste and hard to squeeze out of the bottle. It helped to form my curls at first, then when dry my hair frizzed out more. It dries and makes your hair soft but the frizzing out later is no bueno. The smell is meh, not something that smells amazing and I am not thrilled with the smell at all.
