I had purchased a Santoku knife for M&S several years ago. I came with a “lifetime” warranty. However, when it broke in half recently I found the warranty was useless because M&S no longer sells knives. This looked like a great alternative and so far, after one month of usage, I’m very impressed. Hopefully it will last longer.

Classic 8 inch chef knife shape, for me the perfect size. good balance and a blade without too much taper, which makes it easy for my Warthog sharpener to keep an edge on it. Very happy with the purchase...I wouldn't put it in the dishwasher though (Pakkawood handle), that said, I don't put any of my decent knives in the dishwasher.Blade has proven to be sharp and keeps it's edge well.
