Doesnt work. Reviews are for plant food and not this tool
After buying this product and noticing it doesn't actually work at all I realized the reviews were for a plant food and not this product at all. How is this allowed? The 3 in 1 soil tester doesn't work and the reviews here arent even for it. They are for plant food! Scam. Returning.

Don't waste your money like I did.
Do not buy. I put the probes into a moist pot and it read wet so I put the probes in dry soil and it read wet. When testing the PH, it always reads alkaline at about 8 no matter what soil you put it in. I verified my soil ph with a better ph test and was 6.5. I wiped the probes clean before every test.

Did not work
Right out of the box it did not work. The needle did not move once, even when switching modes and going in different plant pots. Will be returning.

Did not work for me
I bought this to read the pH level in my lawn to see if I needed to add lime or not. No matter where I inserted the unit into my lawn, garden, or indoor plants, I got no reading. Contacted contacted the company to Inquire about not having a reading on the PH level. The response I got from the company was about measuring the moisture level which I had no interest in it.

pH meter stuck on the 'pin' at 8
I got this an hour ago and immediately stuck it 3" into a basil pot to measure pH - 10 minutes later the needle had not moved. Cleaned it, stuck it in a tomato pot, 20 minutes later the needle had not moved (stuck at 8). Two different soils (some shared components). Third try, a mint plant which I used back yard soil (in Long Island, so, acidic); same results, no movement of the needle, reading of pH=8. Plugged into a lemon now and I will leave it there for an hour, but as of now.... needle has not moved. If my soils' pHs are all 8, why are my plants growing at a decent rate? Alkaline lemon anyone?

Broke quickly
When my eldest ferret passed away (he was 7 years old) we decided we wanted to bury him and plant a tree over him so I could watch it grow. We settled on a lime tree (and after I brought it home, it was discovered the tree was a bearrs lime tree, my ferret's name was Bear <3 ). I know from my childhood here that citrus trees need certain amounts of water and sunlight and I wanted to make sure that the tree had a good start in the world. I purchased this to measure the moisture in the soil. I used a screwdriver and a mallet to make two long narrow holes for the device. The plastic piece came apart before I even tried to push it into the ground. I snapped it back together and put it in the ground. I pushed it as deep as I could, into the ground, and ended up snapping off one of the probe sensors. I didn't feel like I had handled to device very roughly, but it could totally be my fault the probe broke. I am now looking for one that is of more heavy duty materials so I don't have to worry about it breaking the first time I use it.

Small Display
These "green" ones are all the same no matter who you buy it from. Must come from the same manufacturer in China. The display is small so if its in the lawn you have to get down close to read it. If you take it out of the ground to read you will lose the reading before you can see it. Their accuracy is good enough. They are somewhat fragile so don't drop on a hard surface. They split apart easily. However they do he job for a reasonable price.
