Don't wait to long to use it.
I used this cast iron cleaner on 3 of my cast iron skillets. As long as it's not real heavy rust this worked just fine. The largest skillet had real heavy rust and it took most of it off. I do like this product it did it's job.

Ok product
It was more like kosher salt. The metal scrubber didnt help as much. I would still recommend to use a scraper on your griddle

Did not come with metal cleaning tool
Bought this because it was supposed go come with metal cleaning tool. It did not come with one.

They didn't even send the metal scrubber, product looks like rock salt.

The chain tool is really helpful. Salt cleaner is useless.
The chain removed stuck on food right after cooking w/o scraping. The salt cleaner was useless. It removed no buildup. It smelled pretty. That's it.
