Review: Truly a Lifesaver - Sorry, I won’t include pictures of the before and after. They’re too gross. My clumsy cat got a huge gash in his leg when he was outdoors, and we spent $2000 to get stitches. Since he couldn’t sit still we had to keep going back for more stitches. Each visit to get the stitches redone was $400 and he was growing weary of so many trips to the vet. This VetBond saved us from having to go get more stitches. So we saved ourselves $400 and spared our cat, Bert, the trauma of having to go visit them again. desertcart was the only one who carried the VetBond in our area. Allegedly other stores should have carried it, but we looked and to no avail. desertcart saved Bert. The wound was originally extremely large and very deep hence the $2000, when we used the VetBond the wound was less than .5 inches. Review: Helped my kitty heal when cone wasn’t working! - My cat would NOT leave a spot on her face alone and kept re-opening a wound from scratching. We were at the vet so many times and they weren’t helpful at all. She ended up in a cone for several months and every time we took the cone off, she just re-opened it. After my vet referred us to a behavioral specialist without really eliminating any potential medical reasons for this recurring wound, I did even more research to see what I could to protect her skin from scratching. I found this bandaid glue, and it worked miracles! You have to be really careful of how/where you apply, and be sure to use the little tube attachments they provide to help slow down the flow of the glue. Do a little test spot on a napkin just to get an idea of how fast it comes out. Once you get the hang of it, it’s pretty easy to use and it dries super fast. It stays on for quite a while too and naturally dissolves without any need for removing. We did a couple rounds on our cat and she FINALLY healed! Incredibly worth it for the price. And even after multiple uses, there’s still a good amount left. Less is more! You don’t need a lot to coat the skin.

**Q: is this a pack of three?**
A: yes it is, the bottles reseal so you can use them multiple times, works as good as the dermabond the hospitals use

**Q: How long is the shelf life?**
A: Amazon requires 3-months, but there are other Vetbond listings that guarantee shelf life in the bullet section of the listing.

**Q: Can this be used to apply nail caps on a cat?**
A: The glue used to apply the nail caps is a different chemical composition and essentially.. a different type of glue.  They DO make refills if that type of glue and you can pretty much find it at any pet supply outlet - inperson or online.

This glue is a biomedical type glue and not designed to last as long as the glue you are talking about.

**Q: What is the active shelf life for this item  ?**
A: According to my experience, the tissue glue is still worked after storing it in the 4C refrigerator above1 year。
If it was used, just put it on the room temperature and close it well. it is active at least half a year.

Vet recommended this for securing a glucose monitoring device to my dog. Worked well. Minor skin irritation for a couple days when it was removed. A little goes a long way, so apply sparingly. Take care to avoid the central area of the monitor. Fortunately, have not had to use it for wound closure.
