Camelbak Unisex Elixir 12 Tablet Tube Pack Beverage

I checked the ingredients against those from my other Camel elixir product and notice that some have had their mg's reduced. The number of tablets have been reduced but it still works ok for what it does. I have recently started testing Hammer products and will compare to see if one is better than the other. As far as ease of use and its ability to completely de-solve leaving no residue in my water bottle or Camelback is a plus up from Hammer products which they recommend you don't put in a hydration system. I don't fancy carrying a pouch of anything in my pockets while riding and don't always wear my backpack on rides until late summer when the temps go up to 35c.I'll see what's what between the two. If Hammer provides what I need to roll a cramp free 160K ride then I'll switch.ej

I had previously tried the lemon-lime flavor and liked that a lot more than the orange/tangerine flavor, but it was still alright. I like that these tablets don't make the water thicker or too sweet, like a gatorade powder would do (try filling your camelbak with gatorade then going out on a long hard ride). So it makes the flavor a little more interesting than just plain water, and it has some aminos in it, to keep you going on your run/ride/hike, which is nice.

The tablets work well in a sports bottle. The flavor is mild and light, not as thick as some of the other sports drinks I've tried in the past. The little extra caffeine helped me with my rides.

I've tried several other electrolyte additives and this is the best flavor for me. I usually use more water than recommended. Great if you engage in any strenuous or sweaty activities. Not sugary at all. Best when added to cold water; warm/room temp water is nasty to me. Convenient packaging for when you're on the go. I usually keep one tube in my car and another in my cabinet at all times.If you buy at the cheapest price it turns out to be around $0,75 or less per drink, which is way less than Gatorade or the like.Highly recommended.

a little pricey but they say its good, tried it and didnt see any improvements in my performance but yes its better than the plain water.

I loved this product. I usually HATE sugar free type drinks as they all have a terrible aftertaste. This is surprisingly one of the few (okay only!) one I have ever found that I can actually stomach. They are small tablets that if you break in half (easy to break) will fit in the mouth of a standard 20 ounce plastic soda bottle. Takes about a minute of shaking to dissolve it and is drinkable warm with little aftertaste.

LIke so many of these powders/tablets, this one is much too sweet (tasting, there is no real sugar on board) with much too little flavor. I am amazed that adding more artificial sweetener is considered attractive. Watering down the tablet does not really help as the meagre flavor is also watered down. I have tried a reasonable range of flavors from at least 4 different sources and the only one I can stomach is the Camelbak Orange Alert. It has caffeine, which is not always a good idea, but it also has a better flavor/sweetness balance.

I love these. I have been using these tabs in my hydration pack for years. When I use them, I find that I drink more of my water, so I am not as tired or dehydrated by the end of the day. You do need to wash out your pack after using them however, or plan on buying a new pack after it sitting in the closet for a couple weeks.

Good for very sweaty work outs

Light tasting, easy to clean, and gives you a little boost with the added caffeine.

Delivered quickly. Nice product for my water bottle.
