Very very strong, and adjustable so that’s nice. I used them to latch my 4 wheeler trailer gate up in the locked position, would buy again

Very nice latching toggle clamp. The built-in release is a nice feature. I worry somewhat that the spring may corrode over time, and if it does then the locking function will stop working. I have them on a trailer where I think some form of secondary lock is necessary on all latches. This one is nice because it eliminates the need for a secondary locking pin or padlock. I'm happy to have it, it works well, my only worry is the spring. If I was buying again I might go back to the type with a through hole for a secondary lock just for the peace of mind. As it is, it works well and I'll just keep an eye on it. I'm giving it 5 stars because it works very well, and I don't know that there will be a problem, I just worry that their might be. Something others may want to consider depending on their application.
