Installed in my RV to run living room LED lights that were way to bright (especially when watching TV). Now I can set the level where I want it whether its is very low for watching TV or mid level for visiting with friends. I have been using it for several months now and am very pleased with it's performance. It has a bit of annoying habit of turning itself on sometimes but I just turn it back off. Not a really big problem because it doesn't happen often and I don't worry about the lights been on as they are LED and hardly draw any power. Great price too! Much cheaper than the ugly dimmers you can get at the RV dealers.

I wish I had read some of the other reviews. Basically, this is an attractive switch, looks really nice, performs well.EXCEPT for the fact that it switches on all on it's own! It is random, like the other reviewers have noted. Yes, it is hooked up to LEDs so the power draw is minimal, but who wants to be woken up in the middle of the night because the light switch decided to turn on the lights??? What makes it worse, is that I bought mine a year ago, installed it only less than a month ago, and the vendor says the warranty is only good for 6 months, and their only suggestion is to find an electrician to fix/help me! Poor customer service response. If it weren't for this, this switch would have received 5 stars. Be forwwarned, this switch has a problem with random switching on, don't be surprised when it happens to yours!

Nice form factor, easy to use and connect, fits a standard single gang electrical box. I haven't ever heard the squeal or hum for it that some have experienced. Turns on randomly. I walked by about 2' away and it turned on the light. I have left the house for a couple days and it was on when I got back. Installed in an off grid house, connected to the 12 volt battery system. I have 7 of these. The longest led strip is 12' long.

This dimmer does work well, and for the price it is a good deal. However as others have stated it has a very high pitch squeal if you set it on any other setting then all the way up or down.

This is not for 12-24volt systems! Not 120 like the description said. It doesn't come with a transformer or any thing to work with. The output is also 12-24v so you can't use these on normal lights. If you use these for that application then I'm sure it'll be fine. But reading the question/answer was incorrect.

I installed all new lights in every area of our yacht. We used these to control the lighting level in the bedrooms and salon. They work very nicely and are easy to install. Keep in mind they operate on 12 volts not 110 volt but since my yacht is 12 volt they worked well. I also like the beep when they turn on and the graduated light level when turned on. Light level is easy just by sliding your finger up or down on the pad.

UNit came and looked as if it had been returned. Didn't work in my RV. I tried it on the main cabin lights, (4) first, and then just the 1 light over the sink which are all 12v LED. Maybe I got a bad unit?, but the lights just came on and stayed on, no adjustment at all. I managed to try holding the power switch and get it to beep as if it wanted to work. It just didn't work.

Sometimes takes a few taps to get it to do what you want but it has worked for a few months now. Arrow buttons stopped working on mine. The touch sensitivity isn't great.
