No, it’s very lightweight and not built well. Mine broke after 2 weeks.

Does it feel good enough to make me feel what I touch?

The pointer had a nice feel and was sturdy to anchor me. I never touch anything alive with it so I can’t tell you how one feels through it. I don’t think the shaker was worth much, but it made a nice sound to get attention when I tapped my tank

I wouldn’t take the chance of putting in in your carry on they may take it away. I always check it in my bags
