I did not expect this book to be a textbook; however, I enjoy reading any textbook. Since this book is in my field of study, I have found myself referring to it many times. Its not one for the laymen. One must have the foundation of functional.medicine to grasp.the concepts provided. I believe this book to go beyond expectations. Happy to have purchased it.

YOU NEED THIS TEXTBOOK! This textbook is what I've always needed, and it FINALLY EXISTS. It is by far the most useful nutrition textbook I've ever had, and I know for a fact I will reference it often. If you practice integrative or functional nutrition, this is a must. And if you're interested in learning more about integrative-functional nutrition, then this is something you'll need to expand your knowledge base.

Just purchased the book......looks good but I was surprised to find a two or more references to be "non-relevant", not referring to the issue. Excellent. There is no doubt that the content of the book is essential. An updated (required) version of the Functional Medicine Textbook, edited 10 years ago, and maybe more.I feel hugely grateful to the authors of the book.Gabriel F MD
