The first time I performed the test I was a little slow, but I think I could get the test done and results shown within 4min now. The hardest part was getting enough blood to come out of our fingers. The test shows very clear and easy to interpret results. There is a card which shows you the 10-12 combinations of circle results you can get. There was no ambiguity in the circles. They either look like red watercolor, or they get speckled with pin tip size red dots. It was very easy to distinguish between the 2 possible results for each circle of blood drops. And the results appeared within seconds, although they tell you to wait longer.

I purchased a pack of 5 of these test kits because I was curious as to what my family members and my blood types were. My spouse was certain of her blood type so we tested her first as a sort of "accuracy" check. Her test came back as a match to the blood work she has had performed through a lab. Feeling more confident in the accuracy of these tests, we proceeded to use the other kits on the rest of our family. Even though the results from these tests wouldn't be accepted in a medical setting such as prior to a major surgery (the provider will require a test done by a lab to ensure the correct blood type is used in event of an emergency), the tests still provided some useful knowledge and the kids thought it was neat to watch their different blood types react with the different test circles on the cards.

I have been wanting to know my blood type for some time, now. I did not realize it was so easy to test for.... until now. This kit was easy to use. The most important thing is to READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE KIT. Then it is easy and effective. I don't understand the negative reviews.... this is a quality product. Now I know my blood type!

With the world as we know it changing rapidly before our eyes, the unfortunate time will come when you or a loved one will need to know your blood type. Don’t procrastinate…test everyone in the the family and save it in every phone, put a copy in the glove box of all vehicles, post it on the inside of the kitchen cabinet, and educate your children on the locations…..should the worst occur…MINUTES MATTER

Used as a homeschool project. When my husband had emergency surgery, I was able to tell the doctors his blood type. Obviously, they check because they aren’t going to take someone’s word for it) and they told me that I was right. Yeah. That means that the kit was accurate.

The little “cups” used to collect a drop of blood and smear on the card are awkward. The directions to turn the card side ways would cause the various samples to miss and invalidate the test. I simply squeezed a drop from finger to card for each sample, mixed with the circle cup thingy, and did NOT turn the card side ways and the samples would have run into each other. It took a pretty long time to dry, which was annoying. It was nice to see the results for the family. Sent one to another relative to do the same. I’d appreciate a tad bit more “elegance” in the design, and quicker dry time.

This is a great product to know your blood type. I knew my blood type by not my family’s. We all did it and in less than 10 minutes we had our results. Like I said, I knew my blood type already and that’s how I knew the results where accurate. This is great information you need to know.

I bought this as my boyfriend and I didn't know what our blood types are and we figured why not, it was fun definitely! I do recommend watching the how to video online as the paper directions were a little confusing
