Wall plate for the 2020 version of Nest
Firstly, make sure you get the right version. The back of the newer Nest, has different connections than the older ones. The pictures are a great help in making sure you choose the correct version.The main purpose of the plate is to hide the holes, left over from older thermostats. It does this brilliantly. It fixes very easily, and the back part of the Nest just attaches with the same screws. Then you plug in the front part of the Nest. Best of all, it looks very attractive.

Great product.
I ordered this trim kit as I was unable to find the Google Nest trim kit available anywhere (online and in-store) and I was pleasantly surprised. It was incredibly easy to install and looks great. It has a much more minimal profile compared to the Google Nest trim kit and that was a major selling feature for me. I highly recommend this product.

Looks nice, but expensive for what it is
Hard white plastic shell, looks nice enough with my nest thermostat, but really should be cheaper for what it is.
