hi: is this smooth ceylon blend?

5 Roses is a South African tea company that uses blended Ceylon tea. Very nice choice of tea for every day or special occasions.

Are the bags in individual packages or just one big container?

The individual bags are in an aluminium looking pouch. I think about 50/100 bags per pouch. I don't recall the number as I have bought both the 100 and 200 teabag boxes.

My Favorite Tea

South African and love 5 Roses and can't always get it. Ordered these off Amazon, they arrived in a few days. Everyone freaks out about the expiry date, don't forget in South Africa the day is first then the month, that makes more sense when reading expiry dates from SA.

Best before date not listed

Unfortunately, the best before date is not listed. I have a 4 pack of 102 teabags each with a best before date of 01/17/2026 that arrived on 01/09/2026. This gives me 8 days to drink 408 cups of tea. Not sure that I can drink 51 cups a day. This is excellent tea that I have been drinking for over 50 years.
