Bought this for my husband and his bad knee, and it worked! They say take 3 a day, but he took 2. It is a bit more expensive than other glucosamine products, maybe because it has the added turmeric and MSM, (I am not sure what that is good for?) Regardless this medication does work for sore and aching joints, knees or whatever. There is no taste nor aftertaste to the capsules. They are regular sized capules, he took them in the morning with his breakfast.

To have a vegan Glucosamine and Chondroitin made from algae is great. Glucosamine is typically made from shellfish and Chondroitin usually from bovine, pig or shark cartilage. So if you have any allergies to shellfish or have trouble with animal cartilage this is a better fit. Do pay attention to the "Caution" on the back because this product does use derivatives from the daisy family ( in case you are allergic). Burdock has also been added which is good for gut health, anti- inflammatory and a good antioxidant among other positives Capsules are typically easier to assimilate - certainly a better choice than most tablets and this capsule uses no gelatin or waxes. I have been using Vimerdon's Vegan with Burfock Root for a few years now.

The reason I started taking this supplement is that I was experiencing severe knee joint pain. I had had shots into my knee which only helped for a few days at most. The smell is from turmeric. A spice often used in dill pickles. This spice can also cause upset stomachs, and gas. I can only take 1 PILL, two or three times a day for this reason. The turmeric is used to counter the inflammation in the joints.

Let me start by saying this, I have nothing to gain at all by leaving this review. I am just an old school truck driver and over 30 years on the road has taken a toll on my body, especially my knees. Climbing in and out of a semi truck every day for 30 years, pushing a clutch to shift through 10 gears all day long and sitting with my knees bent for as many as 14-16 hours a day takes a heavy toll on the knees and the rest of the body. My knees are in constant pain and Ive tried almost everything except surgery. I ordered these supplements because a family member suggested I try them just to see if they might help lessen the discomfort in my knees just a little bit. So I ordered them. I was skeptical...but...the first night I took 3 capsules before eating dinner and knew not to expect immediate results. Next day was the same old pain...but...took 3 more the 2nd night before dinner.....next day....same old pain. Same thing on night 3.....3 pills with dinner. Day 4 I woke up early as usual, braced myself on my bedside table out of habit expecting my knees to scream out in pain, but the pain was not there folks. The ONLY thing that changed was starting a regimen of these supplements and on the 4th day my pain was gone. In fact, I can feel that the swelling and inflammation has also subsided. I am sitting here writing this review in utter disbelief and literally stretching and moving my legs trying to feel pain, but its not there yall. What is happening?? I dont know, but Im not in pain. I find this to be a good quality product. The product is shellfish free. The supplement includes several other ingredients that work in synergy with the glucosamine. They also have a money-back guarantee. This brand is a bit pricey, but the higher quality products that are independent lab tested and certified usually are. You can be a little more sure you are not being poisoned. There is a product by Wellness Labs being sold on Amazon for only $11 or $12 per bottle and claims to be a high dose. It has 1100 mg of MSM in it. But guess what? You cannot return it on Amazon, and they send you OLD PRODUCT that is near its expiry date! Beware! Always be suspicious of supplements with a price that seems much lower than similar products. If it is priced real cheap there is a reason. Do you want old product ready to expire with no Amazon return option? I gave this Vimerson Health glucosamine 4 stars instead of 5 only because it contains only 25mg of MSM, so you will have to buy an MSM supplement in addition to this one to get a reasonable amount of MSM, like 1000 mg (the typical dose). If it had at least 1000 mg of MSM I would have given it 5 stars.
