What a fantastic KNIFE !!
I have had a couple of knives from the Rockingham Forge before. I am a fully trained chef in French cuisineThis is the best buy I have seen and tested online at this time. This is a " Damascus " knife : metal folded and folded again etc. You can see the payers clearly , and this process is based on traditional Japanese Samurai swords.Razor-sharp, the tang goes all way through with 3 solid rivets and a lovely stylish handle.At this price , I almost feel I should pay the Rockingham Forge extra for their complete professional product.Also , really smartly packaged : this is an ideal present for any cooks you know. (and chefs, new and old. )

Solid knife that will serve you for years!
Superb Paring Knife. Very sharp and cuts through veg and meat like it was soft butter. The damascus Sam Mai style knife looks fantastic. The weight is good and balance is almost perfect. All in all a solid knife that will either outlast me or probably be lost first. You can take a fine slither of meat/veg off (been using it on homemade biltong). Def value for money.
