The label and barcode are different from the bottle shown in the listing. Nowhere on the label is it described as BP (British Pharmacopoeia, meaning it meets British standards), probably because it's made in South Africa, and so is clearly mis-described.It may be glycerine for all I know, but there have been many cases worldwide, including South Africa, of toxic diethylene glycol being substituted for glycerine, so I'm not going to risk using it. I bought a bottle of genuine, and much cheaper, BP glycerine in Boots chemist instead.But it was delivered quickly, so that's worth one star I suppose!

There is no way you could use this for any moisturising purposes. It doesn't mix well with anything, it has a very sticky feeling to it and does not spread or absorb on skin well.

Very good for sealing in moisture on my Afro 4C Low Porosity hair.I mix it with hot/warm water in a spray bottle to melt/dilute as it’s very thick used on its own, then I spray that on my hair.Keeps my hair healthy and moisturised, I spray this every other day.It’s very good for dry itchy scalp, I use it without diluting on the scalp. A little goes a long way.Also good to use with body lotions, it makes the skin very smooth, however, I only use a drop on my everyday day lotion(I mix that on a small bowl i.e one drop of glycerin and small amount of lotion for ONE use only). Reason for doing so and not adding it directly to my lotion bottles is, glycerin is very thick and alittle goes along way. I use this in the morning than in the evening.Glycerin is a very good moisture sealant for low Porosity hair. It’s also good for helping the lotions applied on the skin retain and seal the moisture especially for dry/very dry skin.

This glycerine is definitely not original as my reacted to it badly. ( I used this brand for over 10years, but it's my first time of buying from this seller since shops were closed during the lock down.Total Waste of money 😒😡I had to discard both bottles.

Very good I was looking for this product everywhere and I found it on amazon at a cheap price, it is pure glycerine,At winter my family uses glycerin every day it smooths dry lips and heals bleeding or split lips WILL BUY IT AGAIN 😄😄
