Useful to have
Useful piece of kit to have. Easy to use (with assistance of YouTube). Glad I purchased it so I can periodically perform maintenance of the disc breaks myself

1st time brake bleed.
1st time I've bled the brakes, usually leave it to my LBC, but I needed to fit a new brake lever on my MTB. Tricky with 2 hands so best to have a helper, otherwise straight forward after watching a few YouTube videos

Excellent kit!
It's a very good, well made kit. I like the feel of the genuine one, over the third parties. Seems sturdy and should last a good time, with proper usage and cleaning.

Works great on HeyBike Mars 2.0 with Shimano RSX hydraulic brakes
Could not tell compatibility from reviews or product descriptions anywhere on the Internet, but took a chance and this fit great on two HeyBike Mars 2.0's with Shimano RSX hydraulic brakes (they have the smaller thread size). Ridden only about 14 miles each (but stored folded for a year), one bike developed a bad front brake and one developed a bad rear brake, where the lever would go right to the handlebar. I think when the bikes are folded for storage something stresses the line or connections, as air should never get into an otherwise closed system. Process was super easy, I did not go crazy removing the wheels or pads, I simply covered each brake mechanism and rotor with a plastic shopping bag, removed the bleed screw at the lever, mounted the cup and "flicked" the lines, then actuated the lever both with hard presses and quick releases, and a train of tiny air bubbles came out of both mechanisms. I rotated the front wheel to get the brake lever into different angles and attitudes, and continued pressing the levers until each was as firm as original. I removed the cup, replaced the bleed screw, and voila. About a week later they are still firm, as I'd expect. Way cheaper than going to a bike shop. I purchased the small container of Shimano red mineral oil, and did not use even a half teaspoon during the process on two bikes. I had to move the shifter out of the way on one bike (why does it have a phillips/standard hybrid screw head instead of a hex?), so that added a few minutes to the procedure which overall took maybe twenty minutes.
