LYXMY Replacement Parasol Fabric Cover, 2m/6 Arms Garden Umbrella Fabric Canopy Cover, Anti-ultraviolet, Waterproof

We had a rigidity old wooden parasol frame in the back garden which was fast in its way to the Recycling Centre. However, I decided to save some money, and rather than buying a brand new parasol, opted for a replacement cover. It transformed it and looks really lovely. I went for cream. It took some tugging, especially the last couple of arms. (avoid pulling the back small section of the arm end) but eventually it straightened up the frame and it looks as good as new! If you bought the correct length and nr of arms, it might feel towards the end that it is too small, but persevere! Very happy, perfect fit. There is a hole at the top (which is not advertised) to push the vertical middle of the frame through. I would say it is quite a universal fit. Waterproof, but not bird-poo proof :-)

The wooden parasol frame is in excellent condition and fully functional - only the fabric was torn and faded.Rather than spend £100 + on a new parasol....Dimensions were as stated. I had to trim the parasol arms to achieve a nice tight fit - no problem.The stitching and finishing are not as good as the original - obviously.The colour and fabric looks good - only time will tell.All in all - for the price paid, a good outcome.

This is created for the larger arms. So be mindful to ensure you order the correct size.Apart from that, early days, but does the job it is intended to do.At present in England, not so much keeping the sun at bay, but certainly protecting us from the rain!! 🤔👍🏻👍🏻

Arrived very quickly, exactly as described Perfect fit and saves me having to buy a whole new system as it was only the cover that was torn! Very happy with this replacement cover

Seems to be ok, nice fabric and colour

Poor stitching throughout. Loose threads hanging. Top "vent" only tacked on. Since this is under strain when the parasol is raised, it leaves unsightly gaps. Visually not much better when collapsed. Stitching in middle of vent just an incomplete circle of poor machine work. No reinforcement(ie. eyelet) to the centre of vent fabric so the tension is taken by the flimsy fabric alone.Needed to use it ASAP to replace canopy which had finally rotted after years of UV rays and weathering. My solution was to cut out the brass eyelet from the old parasol and hand-stitch it to the new one. It worked. It fitted. A temporary cosmetic replacement but once "doctored" was unable to return new cover.
