This stuff is a must if you've got a wick style humidifier. It keeps mold from growing on your wicks so they last longer and is safer for everyone in the house. The 3-pack is a great deal.

I have a Venta AirWasher that I use to control humidify in my living room. While I don’t use it as an air purifier per se, the design of the AirWasher leads it to pick up material from the air and deposit it in the water.After only a few days, I would get quite a bit of Venta Funk emanating from the AirWasher. I decided to give this biocide a try after getting some tips online.I’m pleased to report that this appears to be inhibiting bacterial growth in the Venta. No more weird smells. While I do still clean it on a regular schedule to prevent clogging with particulates, the odor is completely gone, there is no more slime. This has made cleaning easier.My only request would be for the option to purchase a more concentrated solution to help make this product more environmentally-friendly to ship.

I wasn't aware that humidifiers get a little funky after a week. As soon as I started using this, the funk went away!

I think most humidifiers leave a white dust looking film all over the house. This humidifier does this.
