Practical and apporachable!
Loved the practical ideas for how to cope, but also the relatable ideas. I appreciated the representation of people of color and the overall focus on SEL is very much needed. Teachers and families alike will ike this one!P.S. I think the sunshine recommendation was my favorite :)

Nicely written book.
Nicely organized book on coping skills for children. As the parent of a child with a general anxiety disorder, I attest to using most of these suggestions on or with my daughter.Change is hard, especially for a child who isn't in control of life making decisions.I would like a name to go along with the character in the book.

Covid Challenges
While this book is geared towards Covid (without mentioning Covid) it is chock full of activities a child can do anytime there is change or they find themselves bored - including summer break! It lost a star when the kids were doing art on the wall. Overall, it’s a good story with lovely illustrations.

Useful and Enjoyable
This cute and brightly illustrated book offers children a variety of suggestions on how they can creatively use their imaginations to cope with change, with a particular focus on the kind of change that accompanied the pandemic: namely quarantining and lockdown procedures where children find themselves suddenly cooped up at home.I particularly enjoyed the page at the end that offers an illustrated list of activities that essentially summarizes the book.Pandemic or no pandemic, change or no change, the suggestions in this book are also great alternatives to screen time.

Great
We loved this book. It was full of ideas for my son to pass the time and everyone knows that ideas are always better heard from a book, game or another adult lol I loved it. Thank you.

Great way to show „change“ and how to „adopt“ to kids
Especially these days the book helped us to learn about change. Life is constantly changing and it’s about us how to respond to it. The book is beautifully illustrated and gives a lot of options how to cope with change and how to make it fun.
