PRO MIXER DX2000USB Professional 7 Channel DJ Mixer with INFINIUM 'Contact-Free' VCA Crossfader and USB/Audio Interface

I own the predecessor to this mixer (DX-1000). I love the black finish much better. I haven't really used the USB channel because it only works on one channel (Fader). At least with the software I use (PCDJ-Red). All of the functions are familiar and user friendly. The only thing that I wish it had was a dimmer for the bnc gooseneck light (the 1000 did) a mono/stereo switch would be nice and an FX send for all channels. Plenty of input/output for a mobile Dj or small radio studio. The sound is clean. I give this 5 stars for its performance $ price. I own 2 of these & 5 DX1000's

For many years I owned this mixer's predecessor, the Behringer DX-1000 and it served me well in my home-based audio production studio. This new mixer is very similar to the DX-1000 except that it has a USB connection and a little better sound. So far, no problems and I'm hoping it will last me as long as the first one did (about 10 years).

The product came good, but there was a damaged button. :(

ELEVEN MONTHS! Yes, ELEVEN MONTHS! My Behringer Pro Mixer DX2000USB lasted ELEVEN MONTHS before it CEASED TO FUNCTION for NO APPARENT REASON. It was used for a FEW HOURS A DAY to produce a RADIO PROGRAM, was connected to a HIGH-QUALITY POWER SOURCE, was situated in a CLIMATE-CONTROLLED environment, and COVERED when not in use. And it JUST FAILED. The mixing board is under warranty and the electronics repair shop to which Behringer directed it to for purposes of repair ​seems very competent, no one knows when the mixing board will be repaired. As such -- and given my busy radio schedule -- it was necessary for me to purchase a replacement mixing board. I will update this posting after the mixing board has been returned. UPDATE: 1/7/22 The mixing board repair (of a failed power supply) was completed in eight week and its cost was covered under the manufacturer's warranty. The repair was completed by a very competently by an electronics repair firm located in Taylor, MI, just outside of Detroit. Aside from the the failed power supply -- and being without a mixing board for nearly two months -- the mixing board appears to be functioning well, although the output of one of the pots is ragged.

I WAS VERY HESITANT TO PURCHASE THIS MIXER BECAUSE I'VE SEEN SOME BAD REVIEWS ON BEHRINGER PRODUCTS AND ON THIS MODEL, HOWEVER I TOOK A CHANCE AND IS VERY HAPPY. I HAVE BEEN IN THE DJ BUSINESS FOR OVER 25 YEARS, OVER TIME I'VE HAD EXPERIENCE WITH ALL KINDS MIXERS HIGH END, LOW END AND IN BETWEEN. AFTER RECEIVING THE BEHRINGER DX2000USB I COULDN'T WAIT TO HEAR WHAT IT SOUND LIKE. I WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISE THE SOUND QUALITY IS SUPERB. SOUNDS MORE LIKE A $2000 MIXER. EVERYTHING ON THE MIXER WERE TESTED AND FOUND TO BE IN PERFECT WORKING ORDER. I READ ONE REVIEW WHICH INDICATED THAT THERE WAS A HUM COMING FROM THE USB PORT ACTUALLY THE HUM IS COMING FROM THE SUBWOOFER PORT IF LEFT IDLE. IF YOU DON'T HAVE A SUBWOOFER JUST PUT A XLR PLUG IN THAT PORT AND IT WILL TAKE CARE OF THAT PROBLEM. THE MIXER IS A BIT LARGE BUT VERY SIMPLE TO OPERATE. OVERALL I THINK THIS IS AN EXCELLENT MIXER FOR THE PRICE. UPDATE... I HAVE TO ADD AFTER SEVERAL MONTHS OF USE THE MIXER HAS SURPASS MY EXPECTATIONS WHICH CAUSED ME TO GAIN SOME RESPECT FOR BEHRINGER

Exactly what I wanted for my DJ equipment collection. However, I would have loved it if the controls were a bit sturdier. Received within the time promised. Always great buying from Amazon.com
