Good quality, good looking, good fit for my big head
I bought these specifically for use as sunglasses, and consider their safety ratings a large bonus. For some time I have been unhappy with the sunglasses widely available. Either they have been too flimsy and easily damaged, or they have been enormously expensive. I conducted a search for glasses that, in my opinion, provided a good cost/benefit trade, and ended up with the polarized Edge Eyewear Dakura glasses, black, with smoke lenses. I am quite pleased with the purchase. While searching for these, I found some reviews that said these were very small, even child sized. I wear a hat size of 7 5/8 to 7 3/4, and these glasses fit me well. I'm a white guy with a somewhat pronounced brow and cheekbones (an image search for "scandinavian cheekbones" turns up some people who could be my distant relatives), and these glasses fit nicely over my eye sockets, just touching my eyebrows and they touch my cheeks if I smile. From temple to temple, these have an inside distance of 13 centimeters. The ends of the earpieces measure 95mm apart when I'm not wearing them and fit snugly but comfortably. I recommend measuring a pair of glasses that fit you well, and comparing. These are dark, but not super-dark. They won't fully obscure your eyes. The polarization seems good to me, and there is not significant distortion of my vision when wearing them. There is some text printed on the edge of the lens, but I don't notice it when I'm wearing them.I've had these for a few weeks, and haven't scratched them yet, for what it's worth.Overall I am very satisfied, and I'm considering getting more of them just to have some in the car.

The only glasses I wear
I have been buying these glasses for almost 20 years. The polarized lenses are more costly than the standard tinted, but well worth the money. As a young lad I was apprehensive about spending that kind of $ on safety glasses but I’ve never went back to the standard smoke lenses since. They are very dark, cut glare, and make things sharper for me. You may find they need a bit more care when cleaning to avoid scratches. I recommend lots of liquid cleaner of your choice (rinse under tap water if extremely dirty) and a microfiber towel. Glasses are a personal item as people come in many shapes and sizes. For my face they fit and function perfectly. I use them for driving, safety, and recreation. One thing that works well for me is riding motorcycles. If I press the frames against my face and furrow my brow a bit, they act almost as goggles at high speeds eliminating watery eyes.

happy, repeat customer
I am repeat customer. I have bought G-15 lenses last time. This time, I have smoke. I use them while driving, skiing, running and biking.* They are on the smaller side - which work for me perfectly.* ANSI Z87+ rated and tested by an independent lab - So when I wear this on my ride/run I know my eyes are well protected* Sturdy frame with TPR-90 temples. I have both ran as well as biked for more than 2 hours with these on, on a bright sunny days - sweating profusely. The frames does NOT slip.* The polarization is good. G-15 provides better glare reduction than smoke though.* Minor scratches on glasses after everyday, heavy use - One star taken away for that.Overall, great looks and very good value for money.I wish they would come in "designer series" like other Edge sunglasses do.

4.5 stars
I would prefer to rate this 4.5 stars; however, since I can't, I will round up. I've had these glasses only about a week so my feedback is based on an initial assessment, not months of use. First, I ordered these glasses with another much heavier item. The packaging within the container was not adequate and the items shifted easily within the box. I fully expected the glasses to be damaged, but to my surprise, they weren't. So, I'm confident that these will be durable and withstand normal wear and tear. (Interestingly enough, the heavier item was damaged.) The fit of the glasses to my face is snug; pretty much the way I like it, not too tight and not too loose. I have noticed that they do "steam" up and this is the reason why I would prefer a 4.5 star rating instead of the 5 star rating. This is the first time I've ordered this brand of glasses. I've used RayBan's and Maui Jim's in the past. I really liked my Maui Jim's, but I just can't justify the additional money for premium brands when I can buy a pair like this at this price.

Excellent value
Very inexpensive. Very good lense quality for the money. There are other reviews that speak poorly of the polarization; but I have two pair and haven't noticed a problem. Frames are comfortable. I have a wide nose bridge, so sometimes molded frames are a problem for me; however these have worked-out well. The shape of the frames means that they will need to flex to wear them; as such they will stay on your face even with fairly rigorous activity. On the other hand the pressure generated by that flex is light enough that after hours of wear, you won't feel like your head is in a vise. The yellow lenses are a little darker than I would like; but still pretty darn good.

Safety first
Everything about this pair of glasses is good. After about a year having them the nose pad fell off. I use glue to stick it back on. It works for a few weeks til I had to repeat.
