The Rise and Fall of the Classical World: 2500 BC-600 AD (History of Europe) Paperback – 15 Feb. 2006

It was not well presented.. The maps/diagrams were blank throughout and the print size was too small for me to read. The matter I did manage to grasp seemed OK.

This is smartly written book that succeeds in being beautifully succinct and wonderfully detailed. Not a word is wasted. I can't praise this book highly enough. All history should be written this way.
