I am writing to say looks can be deceiving.This product does very well. I would purchase again. Good for metal and wood. If you want to clean up a surface from surface rust or remove some paint. This is your go tooooo item. Very pleased!

they work good on old gaskets, rust, paint, quick change, last a long time

These are pretty good **IF** nothing grabs the pad and offers resistance to it turning. If it does it will rip the thing off the mandrill and you will get a chunk of plastic stuck inside. If you are cleaning a flat surface it will probably be great. If you have a screw or jagged edges... Probably not.

I needed to remove some paint and I did not want to use chemicals. These did the job quickly and efficiently. Beware -- they raise a lot of dust. Use your respirator mask! They also wear down quickly, like sandpaper. Buy a lot.
