Does NOT work with all MSI laptops.
I bough this because I thought it would work with my brand new Katana GP66. After a lengthy call with MSI tech support it is not supported. There is not a compatibility chart to show what is compatible and what is not. Your machine MUST have a thunderbolt to make this dock work. Do not confuse USB-C with thunderbolt. The additional USB worked but the display output did not.

Only works sometimes
(UPDATE: This dock doesn't even charge my MSi laptop anymore. It used to.)Having an MSI laptop, I decided to get an MSI dock. Honestly, I might never buy MSI again. Their laptop hinges from 2020 are notorious for breaking (mine is the 2020 MSI Prestige 15 A10-SC, and the hinge broke), and the dock only works partially.Dock issues:- Sometimes doesn't charge the laptop, but displays video, connects to internet, and USB ports.- Sometimes doesn't display video, but does all other stuff- Sometimes laptop will say 'connected device does not work properly', with a repeated and annoying prompt and sound also appearing- Sometimes will repeatedly make a 'device connected' beep every half secondOnly solution for me is to unplug/re-plug until it randomly fixes itself. Quite frustrating(MSI dock connects to laptop via USB-C to deliver power for battery and video from laptop to HDMI out on dock)

Connectivity + Aesthetic + 100W charging for work laptop
The product works very well !I prefer using my laptop charger rather than the Power Delivery charge from the HUB in order to have more power for gaming. Also the hub heats up a little, works perfectly on 3 screens (hdmi + usb-c + DP).In conclusion, i gain 3 USB ports for my external devices, the ethernet and the connection of additional screens. This allows me to keep my desk in place: having an efficient and permanent office layout for work/game at home. Now i can go to work with my laptop without having to unplug all device (which damages the computer connectivity over long term). For someone who's a perfectionist like me it's very good, but I recommend not buying it if you only have one screen (or your laptop is not a gaming series, they have less connectivity).

Works great
Docking station doesn’t charge MSI GE66 Raider. Beside that works great.

Great Hub!
Exactly what I needed, had a lot of cables running to and from my laptop, now only 1 to my laptop and everything linked to 1 spot

Nothing Special about this Docking Station
I have a MSI GS76 Stealth and I was hoping to reduce the cable hell associated with using it as my home and travel PC.I purchased this dock thinking that it would charge my laptop via USB-C, the docking station says that if my laptop has the feature, which my laptop documentation says it does, that this will "slow charge" my laptop. It does not, not a drop of power, so I still have to break the brick out of my bag and use it for power.-1 for the docking station.I have a Dell 49inch Extrawide monitor that I run at 5120x1440 resolution. The Laptop handles this monitor fine using HDMI. Connecting the monitor to the docking station via HDMI causes the monitor to flicker off and on about once a minute, I dont think the USB-C has enough bandwidth to handle this throughput. I did not try using 2 smaller additional monitors, such as 2x27inch monitors, but I assume this also would not be a great experience-1 for the docking stationThe nail in the coffin for this docking station was the price to benefit ratio. It was way too expensive to function as a USB hub, so I had to send it back. I love MSI, but the specs on this device should be better communicated.

Best Dock for business
Got this dock after discovering that MSI had built one. I wasn’t aware they did. So far, I have found little errors with it. Drivers work great. I can leave my laptop connected to it and I can trust it works when I turn my laptop back on. Works with controllers, MacBooks, wireless mice and keyboards. The only issue I had was getting the auxiliary port to work but I’m not too upset about that. Strongly recommended.

WAS a Very Nice Unit - With a Couple of Improvement Potentials
Downgrading review to "avoid". SS USB ports quit working, charging and LAN connection are now intermittent. Shopping for a replacement.====I’d categorize as a bit of a mixed bag, with its positives slightly outweighing the negatives…PROS- High-quality, sleek unit- Smooth, painless installation and startup- Easily drives two 4K external monitors (but, see caveat below)- Adds needed and easily accessible additional USB ports- Charges laptop whilst in useCONS- Does not work with laptop closed- Power button on dock does *not* wake laptop or monitors- Second external monitor “shares” laptop desktop – cannot have three “independent” monitors unless second external monitor is plugged into the laptop itself (although in all fairness, this might be a Windoze 10 constraint)Reasonably happy with and would recommend. A firmware update to provide for (truly) three displays would pretty much make it perfect IMHO.
