TYR Womens Durafast Elite Maxfit Swimsuit

This is my go to suit. As a master swim instructor, I’m in the water about 15 hours a week. This suit will last me about 8-12 months. The durability is unmatched. I have yet to find a suit that will last longer than this. Please note that, I use a saltwater pool for most of my water time. For chlorine pools, I would give it 6 months if you are in the water over 10+ hours a week.

I swim almost every day and put my suit through a lot. I'm tired of cheap suits that have thin material that soon separates from the lining. This suit has a thicker/heavier fabric that has endured the summer and will take me into my indoor swimming this fall. It wasn't cheap by my standards, but affordable and definitely worth it. I'll be buying another one to keep for when this one eventually wears out. Definitely recommend

This product works ok, but does not fit nearly as well as other TYR products that we bought at big box retailers. The product runs large and is not as well fitted compared to other TYR suits previously bought from traditional stores.

Strap and seam placement and design is perfect for my body. I am 5 and 1/2 inches tall and weigh 120. I originally ordered 32, but found that a new 32 was too small because my old suit was stretched out and I had gained a couple of pounds. I returned the 32 and reordered the 34. 34 is a bit snug too. I wear this suit only for daily ocean swims and not in the pool

If you have a long torso or are tall then you know what a total pain it is to find a one piece swim suit that fits without digging in to your shoulders (as all manufacturers seem to think swimmers are all short, Asian, bodies). This swimsuit is exactly what you need! I'm 5'8", 128 pounds, 32D, and have a long torso and the size 34 fit wonderfully. It keeps everything in place and does not ride up when doing competitive lap swim training. The fabric is durable and easy to care for. Highly recommended - I just wish that they made this suit in more colors!

I consulted the sizing chart posted here on the Amazon listing and I was closest to the body measurements listed for a 32. However, the 32 swimsuit arrived and was crazy tight. The suit doesn't expand when wet, either, so the dry fit is the same as the wet fit. I could get into it, but it was very difficult to take on/off. The elastic borders/hems are not particularly stretchy, so be forewarned - they tend to dig into your skin. If you are fortunate to be stick-thin, you won't have a problem, but if you are a normal mortal, order at least 1 size up (even if the sizing chart looks like you couldn't possibly be that larger size). It was easy to return this on Amazon for a different size. I would not be surprised if I could easily wear 2 sizes up, given the fit of this particular TYR model (Maxfit model), and the way it is made at this particular point in time (2022).

Perfect suit for me for lap swimming. I’m 62 years old so I prefer suits that have good coverage and this one fits that bill. This is my second TYR Durafast suit and the first one held up for nearly 2 years with swimming twice a week.

fit is way to small

I ordered size 32 based on guidance provided. It is too small. Returned for refund without any problem.

My daughter trains daily and this swimsuit is very durable. This is also the only swimsuit of many brands and styles that we have tried that fits her long torso while not being too loose around the waist.

This is a beautiful bathing suit but…. Made way too small. My daughter is a medium and 38 was way too small. Disappointed by sIng but well made in general

I ordered a 40 and normally I wear a 36 in TYR Love the suit but the colour is not the same. More clear blue than periwinkle.

Utilise les tailles standard pour Tyr. Je suggère de commander plus grand que normal. Je porte généralement du 8 femme avec tour de buste 34 mais pour les costumes de bains Tyr, je dois utiliser du 38.
