allows me to plug in my laptop in a tight space where the regular plug wouldn't fit. Definitely reduces the distance the plug sticks out from the laptop over stock, and feels secure. If anybody wants I can take a before and after picture to demonstrate.

Yes, this thing worked for my Alienware laptop. I had a new workspace that didn't have a deep desk. This kicked the power cord out to the side instead of straight back which was exactly what I needed.

The 7.4 mm x 7.4 mm Right Angle Power Adapter Connector Converter seemed like a good option for my Dell Inspiron 15, but unfortunately, it didn’t work. While it’s marketed as compatible with a variety of Dell and HP models, it didn’t fit properly or provide a stable connection for my laptop. I’m sure it works for other models, but it wasn’t the right fit for mine. Be sure to double-check compatibility before purchasing. Unfortunately, it didn’t meet my needs.

Worked for a short time, but only lasted a few months. After a few months the adapter stopped worked, and upon inspection it looked like it was starting to melt at the joint. I have purchased 2 of these and thought maybe the first one was bad or faulty, but after having the same thing happen again to the 2nd adapter I don't think it is working as intended. Unless this is fixed I am worried about it doing damage to the laptop.

This product is very well constructed.

Only thing I hated about my Omen laptop was that the power cable ran straight out from the right side of the laptop. This solved that issue. Cheap and good quality.

Using one of these with an HP Mini 5103 that's mounted in a laptop arm, and it makes a huge difference. On that model of netbook, the power connector sticks out like a sore thumb on the left hand side, and was constantly being bumped by people. With the adapter installed, the power cable now runs down alongside the machine and is safely out of the way, so problem solved. A few bucks well spent, as it's better than risking downtime and the cost of having the power connector re-soldered.

On all my Dells the power cord comes out the back and thats just the way I like it.. All except my 15z Ultrabook - Its on the side and when its on my lap it gets in the way- this little adapter makes the cord go back like my other machines- Handy and its solid and well made!

Basic item. Bought it to help me from having to struggle plugging in my laptop - now is very easy. Seems to work - hoping it will last a long time. Was VERY UNIMPRESSED that the shipping, taxes and duties cost well more than the cost of this jack! If you can find it somewhere else I suggest you try that first
