Military Army Backpack, MOLLE 2 Medium Rucksack with Removeable Shoulder Straps and Wasit Belt, Internal Frame

Been in the army for 15 years. Only lucky enough to get this sack when we deploy. Decided I wanted one of my own. This med ruck sack is better than what we are issued and the added sustainment pouches and extras make it that much better. Love the fact that the waist belt can be easily removed and added.

Firstly, this isn't the ruck you got from CIF. It's basically an army med ruck but more comfortable (unless you're gonna ruck with it long distance, due to the lack of a frame or even a place for one) because the back is cushioned. I don't care for the black "leather" accents on the handle and lumbar area.The phone case doesn't fit many newer phones with cases, and I had no use for the bottle holder, so I gave them to my dad and he loves them. The sustainment pouches, however, are great! They have little pockets/dividers in them for better organization.

A lot of reviews are commenting on MILSPEC and whether this pack meets Army standards. Don't be misled, it is not the same as what the military uses. In many ways, though, I think it is better. No, it doesn't have a frame. If that's what you're after, look up the actually medium molly ruck w/ frame. This is a GREAT mid-weight pack, lots of versatility, high quality construction. Very easy to customize and can fit a few days' necessities in it. Great for a bug-out bag, or just for camping / hiking. Highly recommend. 4 stars because the price could be a little better, but even then I'm thinking maybe 5% lower.

It's very comfortable. There's a pretty good amount of room for my gear. Only think I don't like is that the bottom coushins/waist band is sewn into the ruck. If it was removable like the rip part is it would be a big improvement. There also isn't a separate compartment for my camelbak so I'm a little concerned if I fall or something and the blatter breaks. Other than that I love it.

Worked when I had one issued, bought one for the wife for matching custom bugout bags in our retirement. If they worked in Afghanistan, they'll work in the suburbs. Buy one, you need it. Quality second to none.Post Script: the added goodies thrown in like the Molle pouches are the best!

It's a lovely rucksack and I'm quite stunned by how comfortable it is on the back and shoulders. thick padding on those areas prevents chaffing and lets it sit just right on you as you're moving. My only complaint is that there's this constant creaking coming from the left side as I wear it. I'm hoping its just because it's new and once it's properly broken in, it'll go away on it's own.

If you're asking yourself, "well, if it's not official issue, can I trust it to hold up to military standards?" I fought with Alice in OIF1 and MOLLE in OIF2 - between the two everyone obviously hated Alice and loved MOLLE. AKmax US blows away all standards and expectations. I'm sure it took a long time and lots of testing to create such a monster. I don't recommend this AKmax MOLLE 2 Medium Rucksack - I HIGHLY recommend it. Here's to the team that created such perfection! Well done!

Roomy bag with several separate compartments. Detachable side compartments. Good stitching and tough materials. The internal frame supports well and is adjustable for height and fit. Waist belt is wide and has good padding
