Italeri Harley Davidson WLA 750 WWII Military Motorcycle 1:9 Scale - Plastic Model Kit 7401

A must have for all motorcycle model builders, especially classic Harley Davidson lovers! This kit is a masterpiece! Very well detailed!

Excellent kit. The pieces are molded very well with no flash and the connection points from sprue to the parts is so minimal that I barely had to sand parts after I snipped them from the tree. Details were cast very well and the directions were easy to understand in any language. 1:9th is a great scale for a motorcycle and it was so much fun I’m going to build the Triumph motorcycle that Italeri makes and display it right next to this HD.

Gave this as a Christmas gift to my wife's brother in law who is quite the accomplished model builder. He was pleased right off the bat that it was an Italeri product, having built several models manufactured by them. Very detailed parts and instructions. Had three models he planned on building first, but jumped into this one the day after Christmas and started air brush painting and trimming parts. Will send a picture of the finished project upon completion.

Have wanted this model for a long time, but they can demand a high price. After watching and checking over a long period of time, it came up on Amazon at a realistic cost instead of 2 and 3 times some folks want for this same model. Italeri do make good models, and have two others they produced, so I have no fear this one will be just as good.

This is a fun, but exhausting kit to build. Once you get past the main body you get to the linkages for the breaks and the transmission. not to mention the accessories like the tommy gun and the saddle bags. The bags that came with the kit are very stiff. if you look at pictures of the WLA you see the bags are softer, there are 3D printable after market bags you can find. the fit of the pieces isn't 100% and some pieces I had to replace with brass i made myself. but it wasn't out of want for more detail but necesity since the piece provided just didn't fit. It is a fun kit, but I don't think I'm an experienced enough modeler to really have gotten 100% out of it. If you want a challenge this is a good kit. If you want a simple stress free build, maybe not this one.

Purchased for hubby, he loves this, very durable, true to size, fun hobby for those with patience.

This is a very detailed model only issue was color instructions were alittle hard to understand.

Overall, it's a decent kit but instructions are somewhat vague in critical areas. Most parts are misaligned; most notably the frame where I had to remove the insertion pins to get the frame to align properly. Not much flash, the mold has crisp lines with great detail, but the parting lines were an issue. It's a good kit but a lot of time will be needed getting the parts ready for construction.

ランナーに種別番号とパーツ番号が書いてないので、全て説明書と照らし合わせながら部品を探さなければならないのが面倒です。 また、大事なところの部品の取り付け向きが分からないので後からやり直しが発生することがありました。 最後の方は何かを取付けるのに何かが壊れるくらい持つところがなく苦労しました。しかし、完成度は非常に高く大変満足のいくものだと思います。

This was a nice build for me nice parts the only one thing is the black hose the give you for the petrol brake lines the hole is too small and hard to put on so I had to look in my spare box to find one that fits so save all your bits and bobs
