I don't use these for their intended purpose. I use them in combination with some other parts to mount security cameras on round posts. I am sure they would work even better for their intended purpose. The only complaint I have is that similarly priced equivalents come with silicone parts that affix to the inside of the split ring. I think this provides a more secure (anti rotation) and a vibration reducing connection.

False description, who measures pipe clamps for inside diameter? If I’m ordering fitting or brackets for 1.5” pipe it better be able to fit for 1.5” pipe. Measure the outside diameter before ordering this product. If you want1.5” pipe, you will need to order 2” clamps.
