Compatible with Mac Book Pro Charger, AC 85W T-Type Magnetic Replacement Power Adapter for 13/15/17-After Mid 2012

On my mid 2015 Macbook Pro I have an unpowered Sabrent usb hub with my external keyboard and mouse plugged in to it. If I use the real apple power adapter, everything works, if I unplug and use battery power, everything works, when I plug in this power adapter - my mouse stops working. Happens 100% of the time, doesn't matter if I switch ports, etc. It's cheap and does provide power - but it's not what I expected for a "compatible" power adapter. It works for with my second location setup (no issues with this hub/mouse) which is what I bought it for, and company honored a promotion they were offering - so I've revised my rating to 3 stars.Update: Unfortunately in the second location setup, as soon as I plug in my android phone into an empty USB port on the macbook (no hub involved) it constantly connects / disconnects (unusable) - if I unplug the power brick and run off batteries - the phone stays connected no problem. So there is something in this power adapter that interferes with USB devices.

You can't remove the plug (a.k.a. the blade) from the unit and connect your longer cord like the OEM Apple charger - so the large power supply doesn't have to connect directly to an outlet.Makes for a little less convenient - not only are you tethered closer to the outlet, but said outlet needs a large enough physical opening to accommodate the giant power supply.

I recently ordered this charger for my older (2015) MacBook pro. I was looking for something that would not fray as easily since my last replacement charger started to fray after only one year. I looked around and saw that this particular one had good ratings. I did not want to buy the original Apple charger because it is just so expensive to replace. So far, this charger has worked very well. I plugged it in to try it, and I was pleased that it charges in a short amount of time and has not interfered with me using my MacBook as I normally do. I think this is a very good option for those who do not want to spend an exorbitant amount of money replacing their original MacBook charger. I would recommend this one to friends. My only small complaint is that I cannot use my original extender piece with this charger, so it is not al long of a cord as I would like it to be.

I really needed a quick delivery so I could recharge my computer and meet a project deadline. The charger was delivered overnight. The charger was on my porch when I wok up the next morning. Plugged it in and a few hours later, my computer was completely charged and ready to go. I like this model better than the one I replaced. The old one had two cords and this one only has one; easier to put in backpack.

The design is slightly different than the apple product. The power supply plugs directly into the wall (you do not have an option to have a longer power cord between the outlet and the power supply like the Apple charger). For me that is fine and meets my need.It works fine for my 2014 Macbook Pro. The connector does not get hot (replacing the Apple charger because the connector to the laptop got so hot the orange light actually glowed red!). Great next day delivery!

We have an older MacBook Pro (late 2013 model) and the charging cable broke. This replacement charger is as good or better than the original. It charges the MacBook just a quick as the original and appears to be well built. I've only used it for a few days, but expect it will last many years.

The media could not be loaded.  I bought this charger for my MacBook Pro (Mid 2015).It is fully compatible. It has the same specifications as the original 85W MagSafe 2 Power adapter.It has a magnetic connector as the original and it work real good!I am so glad that I order it and it was so cheap (under 20 Dollars) compared to the others in Amazon.I highly recommended!

So I somehow misplaced my charger for my old 2015 MacBook Pro (still cannot find it anywhere!!) and was in a pinch because I really needed to access a file on it. I’ll admit I was skeptical of buying an $18 non-Apple charger, but am SO pleasantly surprised! This one came in just two days and works super well. Yes, the cord isn’t extremely long like the original Apple one, but I can live with that because it’s a quarter of the cost. It charges quickly and efficiently, and overall gets the job done. SO SO happy that I decided to buy this one and would highly recommend it to anyone else that doesn’t want to spend nearly $100 on a new Apple cord. Two thumbs up from me!
