Official Guitar Hero World Tour Microphone for PS3 / Wii / Xbox 360

I am very happy with these microphones. I have not had any compatibility issues with our Rock band or band hero games. Very good! The Beatles game offers harmony singing which uses two microphones. I am glad to have enough microphones to enjoy this. I plan to eventually try them with the Karaoke games too.

I got my mic after a week or so of ordering. I ordered the Guitar Hero Mic but got the DJ Hero one instead. It's basically the same thing so as long as I have no problems I will keep it. Ive been using it on Guitar Hero and World Tour since I dont have any Karaoke games yet. I have my guitar hero games on xbox 360 so I wont know if it works on the Wii until I get a game for that. The mic works great but I can barely hear myself over the vocals even though I turned them down all the way. The only way to enjoy hearing yourself is by buying the real karaoke games. The wire is plenty long to sit 6 or so feet away from my tv. I havent figured out how to star power yet, which sucks. All in all this is a fun mic and I will continue using it. The mic is nice and looks and smells brand new.Im afraid with a year or two of wear and tear the cord at the base of the mic will get bent and might stop working properly. I've used many karaoke microphones with karaoke machines and this always happens in the long run. I would probably buy this mic again once if I needed an extra one for a karaoke game like Lips or Karaoke Revolution.I gave it 4 stars since I cant hear my voice properly over the guitar hero recorded vocals.

This mic works great for both guitar hero and the karaoke app on Xbox live this has a really long cord I did not measure it but I would say that it is close to 10 feet long. It does also pair up with my win 7 pc just fine but I only tested it to see if it would work and would not recommend this as a pc mic for its not accurate enough for voice recording. overall its great for what its designed to do and works well.

No damage to the mic or cord and it works perfectly with the Rock Band and Guitar Hero series of games [currently only being used on a Wii console].Good buy.On a sidenote; the star rating given is only at fair because the questions don't really pertain to the item [it's clearly not the Guitar Hero game, just the microphone].

So... I totally had to buy this for my boyfriend as he can't play the guitar/bass to save his life on Rock Band/Guitar Hero... but he has a set of pipes on him that he enjoys utilizing.... Great mic! The cord is uber-long (which I prefer because if it were wireless- I'd lose the sucker in an instant). I prefer to show off my mad guitar skills - - but if the neighbors are getting a little too rowdy, I turn up the TV as loud as it goes, grab the mic and wail to some Pixies :)

I can't seem to get this to work. I connect the mic and it doesn't do anything. I am aware i have to connect a controller too, but it still doesn't work. So either I'm doing it wrong or it doesn't work.

It works with Guitar Hero and Rock Band games I own on both PS2 and Wii.

I haven't even gotten the product after over a month, and nearly 2 weeks after it claimed it arrived. Unsure what the hold up is.
