We liked the seal, the breathing hole, the ease of assembly/disassembly for cleaning, the sturdiness and construction. Well packed, and stores away well for a house tight on storage. If you make sausage 3x-6x a year, this is for you.

Spend the extra money and get a better quality one
When unscrewing anything on it it creates metal shavings. Anytime you unscrew it to refill you have to wipe the threads down due to metal shavings. The push plate inside is metal and is to small so let’s a lot of meat get pushed in behind it which is then ruined due to the metal shavings that come off of the threads on the screw that pushes the meat out
