Review: 5 Star - with a caveat - Nice looking, super easy to install, works great. But be aware of its size and location. It is VERY deep (a good thing) but VERY low, as required by its design. So, while you have a great deal of room, some of it is borderline unusable. If you use the bottom shelf for wine bottles, problem solved. But if you use it for individual cans, they will go so far back that it requires yoga-like moves to get low enough to even see them, much less retrieve them. Somebody help me up......
Review: FAULTY PRODUCT!!! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE - Just as you will read from multiple other customer reviews, this Whynter BBR-801BG fridge has known problems to the manufacturer. The unit will "shut-off" and display "EH" error. The company sent me 3 replacement thermostats which i had to unscrew unit and replace myself -- none of them fixed the problem. This problem began a week after receiving the unit. I'm now having difficulty getting the fridge returned. UPS won't pick it up. i do not have the original packaging. This has been so frustrating. This was a more expensive fridge and i expected better results and service. PLEASE AVOID PURCHASING THIS MODEL FRIDGE!!!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Will this hold a bottle of wine standard size horizontally?**
A: The shelves are removable, so yes it will if you move the shelves.

**Q: Does this beverage cooler fit under an island cabinet with 24 in height ?**
A: No. It is sized to replace a trash compactor, which is something not used much anymore.
It fits under standard counter top height, which is about 34 inches. Recheck your measurement, as I feel the 24 inch height you asked about doesn't sound right.

**Q: How to change light setting so it turns off when door closed and on when door is open? Thank you!**
A: press the light button for on. press again for off. There is no automatic setting for when you open the door.

**Q: I received my unit yesterday. all well until this evening when there is an eh code that keeps beeping. what does this mean?**
A: Kindly allow the unit to sit upright for a minimum for 4 hours before turning the unit on. If the code does not clear, please contact our Whynter Consumer Support Team, Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM PST at 1-866-WHYNTER (1-866-949-6837) and at support@whynter.com.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Gets beverages out of full size frig-
*by M***N on November 29, 2025*

We moved into an apartment that had a counter opening of this exact size housing a wine cooler, which we had no need for. Took me months to find this beverage refrigerator -which is so much more useful than the cooler! Has worked perfectly since it arrived- we use it for pop, beer, water, etc. Love it!
