Great entertainment
Great entertainment and quite challenging. Suitable 18+ because of challenges

Good, but not perfect
So we played this with our 8, 6 and 3 year old. 8 and 6 enjoyed the challenged. Some they could do independently, some needed help/clues, some they got before me!! The 3 year old enjoyed going round the room making 'notes'. There is a flaw with the penguin challenge, but once I'd read the hint book we were able to sort it. The challenge at the end was quite hard, but still achieved with some adult help. If choosing a 'trapped' game for kids for the first time I would suggest the carnival first as it was more straight forward. People saying there are no instructions, the scenario is written written on the back of the box, you have to find 8 4 digit numbers that match times on the feeding times poster to find a meerkat. Get all 8 then open the envelope. There is no set order and some solutions need more than one clue from the room. Once in the flow it's great fun!

lots of fun for groups or even two people
Great game. Ive played this game twice and i didnt remember how it all unfolds. so it was super fun to discover the game a second time. easy to play and great for teens and adults. good value for money and comes with all you need. each piece is designed so well

Basic escape room
This escape room game is pretty simple compared to others Overall it does lack structure and a sense of progression (there is also an error). If this was room 1 in a wider game then it'd be great. If you want something light hearted to play with older children or as part of a party where you don't want to take too long, then this will probably be good.

Great family fun
We bought this game to entertain my husband and two boys as we had a great time at a real life Escape Room to celebrate my birthday last year! We played it with our 12 and 10 year old boys and it was load of fun and we loved it. Best hour and a half we’ve spent as a family in ages. An added bonus is that it took the boys away from their devices for a while! The story went that we had to identify and steal a valuable painting by solving the puzzles and at the end there was a code to escape the art exhibition aka our lounge! Some of the puzzles had us scratching our heads but we got there in the end and it was great working together so no one was left out. The clue book and code reader that came in the pack helped us a few times to be fair! When we can socialise again I think it will be fun to give it a go with friends as well. I can recommend this for a fun family night in.

medium difficulty game
my daughter has been asking for this game for a long time. I bought it for her birthday. We arranged a quest for her and her friends, 10-11 years old, we had seven girls. But unfortunately the cross turned out to be too difficult for them. Even with the help of keys, I always managed to solve the riddle, but I also really didn't like that there was no detailed description of how to install the quest correctly. Perhaps this was the main problem. The game is very popular, but I was disappointed in it.

Best thing we have played in ages
First proper attempt at an escape room, played with my daughter is right in a few months. She is neuro diverse so I wasn’t sure if this game would be for her but all I can say is wow! We had such fun, she was fully engaged for hours while we played this, we had a break of about 40 mins while I had to take a phone call but straight back to it. It’s the first one we’ve done so took me a little while to get my head round it but seriously we loved this game. Off to buy more now! 5 ⭐️

Instructions and purpose lacking
Imagine if you will, a board game with no board. Or coherent instructions as to how to play. Or any real clarity as to what end-state you're even trying to achieve. That is what's in the box. Essentially a number of disjointed and fairly simple puzzles that seem to serve no overarching purpose.

The game was too easy and there were only about 6 puzzles to solve, one of which wasn't even needed to get the final answer. Not worth the $22. Should have been under $10.

Ok, I love Exit: The Game, Unlock, Escape Room: The Game, Escape the Room, and Esker. I dislike Deckscape. So, I'm now looking for some other options. This definitely fits the bill. I will buy the rest of the series. What is nice about this one is it is truly designed to be set up in a room. Players can move about the room and put the information together to solve the puzzle. The first part of the puzzle was fantastic and logical. The second part was anti-climatic. I was, like, "is this it"? How do I know if I won the game? So, I read the hints (for the first time) and I had the right answer, but just not in the right order (There is more than one way to solve this puzzle... but it is still essentially the same solution.. just oriented differently.) So, prepare to be disappointed by how the game ends. I mean, come on, they could have said take the middle 3 numbers and look up that answer in the book to read the conclusion.

It was hard to follow and understand what we needed to do to solve the puzzle.

Puzzles were fun. The problem we had with this game is there is ZERO confirmation that you have finished the game- no conclusion or wrap up or anything. The story line was very weak. Compared to exit games this feels way over priced.
