Fits and works well.. You will have to remove the receiver portion from the frame and remove the protruding piece used with the Anderson latch for locking. Easy enough to remove

It fit perfectly into my Andersen sliding patio door. The throw of the handle is shorter and it took a while to resist turning the latch too far. There isn't the safety catch to keep it unlocked while open. I am okay with no safety catch because the safety catch tends to get unaligned and makes the latch harder to use. However, my wife tends to knock the latch down as she goes out the door and locks herself out. I am good with that, but she was rather unhappy when she ran around to the front of the house in her nightgown to ring the doorbell. I would definitely buy it again if I have to replace the lock on my other patio door.

This is a great product, easy to install and works better than original Andersen equipment. We had trouble with our Andersen lock on our 200 series perma shield gliding door for years -- it never worked well. I was about to buy a replacement part from Andersen which costs around $60 and includes a new lock receiver. Fortunately the line was disconnected and I bought this part instead. Installation very easy and quick. Simple adjustment -- we can now lock and unlock the door with one finger.

This fit the door perfectly. I did decide to drill a hole in the unit rather than try to remove the pin in the door jam as that seemed the simplest modification

Replaced the old part no problem, easy to adjust and fit. NOTE: you will need to remove the "pin" from the part on your door frame. So glad I didn't have to shell out 60 bucks for a piece of stamped steel! Update - I was so happy with it I ordered another. The second one's package was crudely taped shut and was clearly a returned item.
