Yeah works really well. IMO better than a TubeScreamer. I used it with a Marshall DSL and it's tone complimented the gain channel very well.

It depends on the pack or "combo" being offered. Normally these pedals do not come with cables or power adapters, but there are some offers on Amazon that do. Just check carefully before buying.
