Perfect for one person operation
There were no assembly instructions included only a parts breakdown illustration. Using that and a online video on how to use I was able to figure out how it attached to my engine hoist. Once mounted it worked exceptionally well and I was able to get a very heavy and large hood off a 60's C body by myself.

Works great, but terrible finish.
The hood picker works great. There are no assembly instructions, but it can be figured out with photos and trial and error. The only negative I found was the finish. The paint is terrible. It was missing in many places. This won't affect the function, but it will corrode in the places the paint is missing.
