Easy to read wire labels
I used these to build a couple of patch panels in the garage to terminate POE cameras and POE wireless access points. The fit in the keystone covers was prefect and held the wires very well. These RJ45 Keystones Work Just Fine Without A Punch Down Tool
I hesitated buying keystones and wall plates based on the many comments made concerning this subject overall, but like many other wanted to install a network. I ultimately purchased the keystones (model CL0080) from CableCreations. I too had difficulty with a purchased punch down tool (as others had mentioned), damaging a couple of keystones. Each wire slot in the keystone has two opposing electrical contacts that are tapered and installed at a 45° angle (in relation to the slot). The punch down tool forced the two contacts to spread parallel. I found the the tool wasn't required. As engineered, I noticed and took advance of the fact that the keystone cap/cover is designed with tabs that force and retain the wiring in the narrow section of the slots. Insuring some excess wire in each slot, I stripped the insulation at the point of contact in each assigned slot. Working the wire into each contact enough to insure wire retention while I installed the cap, I then used vise grips to persuade the cap into the locks. Starting the cap by hand, I placed the jaws of the vise grip over each side and gently worked the caps down until they locked in place. Using small diagonal cutters, I trimmed off the excess wire. Installing twenty-eight in total, all but one twisted pair (corrected) tested without issue. All were tested for continuity using a $10 network cable tester. Deploying nine connections thus far, I have had no issues. I must state that I installed 23 gauge solid core wire and cannot offer any comments on stranded wire.Lastly. I used keystone wall plates by Cable Matters, primarily 4 port plates (model 180019-N), and had no difficultly with installation or removal of the keystones (small flat/common screwdriver).4 stars as I had to sacrifice keystones as part of a learning process.

Good price, just verify the width.
Can't beat the price, less than $1 a piece shipped prime next day.I did not have the same issue as other users with the width being an issue, however I used the keystone jack wall plates. I also did not have an issue with width on a 24 port patch panel. So if you are using plates that have almost no spacing between the Jack's, you might consider looking for a keystone that is the same width as the latching portion of the keystone. All 20 of the keystone's received had the correct tab for the cover to latch to.

Good Quality
Very good keystones. Fit perfectly. They didn’t come with a tool to punch the wires down, but I used a tiny screw driver to achieve that goal. Overall, happy with the purchase. Thanks for reading and YMMV.

Worth it
Works as expected. Wire guides on the side help. Connection were solid. Clipped into outlet cover solidly. 20 pack was good value for the money - the local homestore wanted almost half this price for a small handful.

So easy a caveman can do it.
These things are literally the best keystones there are. They make it so easy to punchdown the cable runs as long as you have a punchdown tool. Never run cables without buying these. That are they easy. 11/10 product.
