If you are looking for a first fountain pen, this is not it. Lamy EF nibs can be scratchy, the z26 converter is included but sucks hard (it just feels insanely cheap compared to the z24) but other than that, this pen has a lot going for it. If you have tiny hands, it's a brilliantly balanced pen. The cap has a snap post, which makes it long enough for big hands. The pen is very solidly made, very positive snap action on the cap, all metal with a comfortable ridged plastic grip (which, while thin, works because it is not tapered like the pilot metro and has great knurlings) and the cap has the same hinged clip that the lamy 2000 has, and is a standout great design. It has dimensions broadly similar to a standard ballpoint or pencil, which I quite like in this design (and I like my huge honking pens) It accepts standard lamy steel nibs (and the gold nib that is on the special edition studio, but that is not sold separately) so you can swap nibs if you dislike this EF or simply want to try another size. I have an EF, F, M, B, and 1.1 stub. This pen is my go to for testing and reviewing inks since I can easily swap nibs and only run one pen while showing 5 nib sizes. It's also a great pen for my uniform breast pocket due to the size, shape, and durability. If you want a thin pen for your shirt breast pocket or an unobtrusive thin pocket pen with a secure clip, this is great. If you are looking at a first lamy and are okay with a triangular grip, get an al-star, or if you want a rounded grip, get a studio. But this is a great supplemental pen to a rotation or if you REALLY need a pen with the dimensions of a standard pencil.

La pluma llegó bien, aunque viene solo envuelta en una bolsa de plástico. No incluye cartucho de tinta, y en lugar de EF me llegó una plumilla F. No la devuelvo porque aun así me sirve.

I have kaweco sports EF and medium, Twisbi eco, pilot metropolitan, moonman m2, Schaffer Agio, about 10 common and a couple next level ups and this is my favourite. Writes really well, very smooth and keeps up to fast pace. Perfectly balanced when posted and slim which is now my preference. Can use it for long periods of time without my hand cramping up. The EF nib writes the same thickness as my EF Lamy safari. Not as fine as the metropolitan or moonman fine/EF. Does not come with a converter though so pick yourself up one of those separately. Definitely recommended.

I started with Lamy Safari but this is the best fountain pen I've come across cause of several reasons. Its fairly thin enabling me make a great cursive handwriting. It has world's best feed as also nib thereby enabling a great flow of ink and writing. It has metals at appropriate places thereby ensuring a pretty long term use and a fountain pen should be like it. I must categorically mention that I've been using this pen for an year now and in course of time, I tried other ordinary fountain pen and only after I tried an ordinary fountain pen, I realised; meaning of quality. As a matter of fact, I'm addicted to cursive English writing only due to the quality of this fountain pen. I will highly recommend this quality fountain pen if you prefer a thinner pen, else Lamy Safari for about ₹. 3 - 4 thousand has the same feed and nib and quality. I have a high appreciation for Lamy as a business organization for providing such great quality.

I like slim pens and this compares to my Lamy Logo There are some slight cosmetic differences between the two but basically the same pen ,weight ,length diameter are all the same . I am glad I ordered the extra fine nib it writes so nice . Two very big thumbs up .
