Mine is 2&5/8" inside, 3&5/16" outside.

Q: Is is all stainless steel? It says "stainless steel construction."

Q: How would this do as a cocktail strainer to catch pulp?

I'm not a cocktail drinker, but I use this all the time to strain fresh-squeezed lime and lemon juice in recipes and it catches the pulp beautifully. Very fine mesh.
