I bought this set to sift bran from my fresh-milled flour. I enjoy making gravies and pudding, However the bran gives it a gritty texture. I'm now able to make smooth sauces, and set the beam aside for other uses!The sifter is very effective. I find no noticeable bran in my sifted flour, and the bran left behind in the sifter doesn't contain any noticeable flour.

Wanted these to sift wheat flour but the holes are way too small. They are only good for sifting processed white flour which is much finer. And I'm not even sure how well they will work for white flour, don't need that sifted so I haven't tried them. They are pretty good quality construction.

These sifters are great! I’m 62 and never sifted flour before! I used the smaller one to make gravy on Christmas and it came out smooth and yummy! Not sure how sturdy it is, but I imagine they are as sturdy as any sifters can be!!

These work out very nicely with my old arthritic hands and wrists. Thank you!!!
