Q: Does anyone know how many swings can be hung from a 8 or 10 ft beam?

The manufacturer recommends 3 swings from a 10' beam. Hangers are on center at 18" from each of the beam, 18" between the hangers for each swing, and 15" of space in-between each of the 3 swings. They have a diagram here. They indicate 12" between each swing, but that leaves 6" unaccounted for, so I just added 3" to each gap. Q: We don't know what the length of wood is required. We have our set laying on the ground with 12 foot 4x4's! LOL now we can't seem to stand it up!

I need to know the angle of the bracket. (I'm separating an existing swing set from play structure so want to use this bracket with 2 4x4's to make it free standing. I need it to be 86" tall and need to know what length 4x4 I need. The other end of my swing set has 104" 4x4 beams.)

Q: can the 4x6 swing beam be slid through the bracket so that part of the beam sticks out a few feet? I can't tell in photo if the bracket is closed end

Yes you can but for me the fit was extremely tight. I had to use a sledge hammer and some cardboard (to cushion the blow) in order to get the bracket onto the 4x6. I stopped once the wood was all the way in (flush with the end)...not sure how I could have gone any further with the fit so tight.

Q: What is the angle the legs sre

I assume this asking what angle to cut the legs at to keep them flat. I cut them on a miter saw at 22.5 degrees and it seems to be accurate.
