19 Inch Quarter Dome Mirror Security and Safety Corner Mirror 1/4 Dome Convex Mirror with 90 Degree Viewing Angle

⚠️ Important Installation Warning: This mirror is NOT suitable for drop ceilings (ceiling grid systems). It must be screwed directly into a solid ceiling joist or suitable backing. If you require a mirror for a drop ceiling, please purchase a different model designed for that purpose. The startfine quarter dome mirror is perfect for my application. I put it in the corner of the home office so I can see who is coming in without turning around. Quick note: when the mirror is first removed from the box it does look dull but after removing the plastic film after installation it will look perfect. There was some scuffs on the side but I suspect those were from shipping. They are not noticeable once installed. The protective film makes it very easy to install without touching the reflective surface. I would recommend a second person and a ladder to install but someone could install by themselves. The protective film might be hard to see on the mirror and hard to peel off after installation, personally, what I did was peel a tiny bit of the film off before installation so after installation you can grab it. The size was surprisingly large to what I was expecting from other people’s reviews, it took up most of the box space in my 6 item order. The mirror is light weight which makes installations breeze. The mirror performs exceptionally when the film is peeled off. A note on that is if you have tall ceilings or wish for more detail you should consider another mirror which is bigger. In my opinion the mirror is very cheap for the quality you get. The mounting hardware comes with 3 screws and 3 drywall anchors. The use of the plastic anchors is optional but recommended for thinner ceilings. The startfine mirror is not suitable for use with a drop ceiling (ceiling grid system) as it needs to screw into the ceiling. The mirror is made out of plastic and a rubber frame at the top. The rubber protects the ceiling. In summery this mirror is very suitable for my needs in my home office.

An excellent idea for seeing the whole porch, I feel much better now that there are no hidden spots for "vermin" to lurk in. I should have done this years ago. One thing to bear in mind, this is made of THIN plastic, I dropped mine on concrete( I'm a clutz), and put a small crack in it. Cold weather might have added to the problem. I Gorilla taped the inside of it to bind it and stop further cracking, and installed it anyway. It comes with three plastic anchors and three screws, easy.

This thing arrived damaged due to the way it was packaged for shipping, but, i tried to make it work. This product is rather small and not suitable for a larger field of view such as the lobby of a small storefront business, but more like a small studio appartment. Cheap plastic with "mirror finish" with protection film, rough cut edges, a plastic mounting bracket, 3 screws.. thats it.. It probably cost someone $1.25 at most to manufacture.. not worth it at all.

.tartFine Quarter Dome Mirror Security and Safety Mirror (1/4 dome, 90 Degree Viewing Angle) This small, lightweight security mirror is great for seeing around corners in tight, awkward spaces. It's a pretty small mirror (1/4 dome--picture a large inverted bowl, cut into quarters--so it's 10", not the full 20") and the curve makes things smaller yet. Keep in mind that this not a security camera to capture crystal clear detail, but a device to let you see where people are. It's just too small to see more than the basic view unless you're really close--and if you were that close to it, you'd probably already have a view of the hidden space you're trying to see. But if you have your back to a door or there's a corner you can't see around, this is a low-tech way to see that someone is coming. I could also see it being useful in office or hotel corridors, or anywhere where there is a lot of bustling and/or carrying packages and it would be handy to see if someone was coming at you around a corner. It is super lightweight, very shiny plastic. I was surprised at how light it is, but that makes mounting easy. It's covered with a protective film that you need to remove after you mount it.

Was easy to install and works great. Make sure to remove the protective film off the mirrored side after installing it.

First thing, I did not pay attention to how these were mounted so I could only use 1 of the four I purchased. These mound to the ceiling, not the wall. That was my mistake though. The other mirrors I attached the wall with double sided sticky tape and that has worked wonderfully. These are versatile, well crafted mirrors

It gives visual clue ok. quality of view is lost in camera shots.

I liked that it came packaged well, free from damage or blemish. Came with mounting tabs. Plan to use in a corner of a room for observation.
