Perfect for pool plumbing. I needed a 1-1/2" pipe to 2" threaded and rather than using a bushing and having multiple connections (that could fail), I was able to get two of these sent in 2 days for way less than the big box store. Can't beat it and helped to plan out the system at home rather than in the aisle of a store!!

Another simple item in constructing my irrigation system, and I used them at riser terminations to allow connection to valves and pressure gauges without issue. The knurling around the body of the adapter allows tool tight connections. Spears is a brand of pvc items that I trust for good quality. And, the system does not leak.

Standard 3/4" Male threaded to 1/2" slip connection. I installed these on our sprinkler valves as our house is fitted with 1/2" PVC to the area where the valves are located. Perfect fit, no problems with any of them.
